Detection of SA1 faults on a VLSI circuit for 4x16 decoder constructed with two 3x8 decoders

PROCEDURE

  1. Click on the "input" buttons A0, A1, A2 & A3 to give the input.
  2. Now select the desired fault position marked at various positions. These are tiny blue buttons. If any blue buttons turns red that means that line is stuck at 1.
  3. Now click on ADD button to add inputs and outputs to the truth table.(If the outputs are matched with normal truth table then corresponding row will be in green color. Otherwise it will be in pink color. Errors are highlighted and SA1 faults listed in last column.)
  4. Click on the "Refresh" button to clear the table and reset the circuit.
